Dear Riverside Golf Club Guests and the Public,
As you may have heard by now, Riverside Golf Club has experienced unauthorized access to credit/debit card data from our Bistro and Rooftop Bar. We want you to know this was a crime against Riverside Golf Club, our staff and most importantly our valued customers! We understand that credit card fraud is confusing and situations like this create stress and anxiety about the safety of your credit card data. We work hard and honestly everyday to build and maintain your trust, and we want to assure you that we are taking this crime very seriously. We are currently looking into the cause of this issue so it can be addressed, but for now we are not accepting debit or credit and will resume only when we are 100% certain that you are safe. We will take significant actions to further strengthen security across our network to ensure that this does not happen again.
Important things we want you to know:
- As far as we know, the unauthorized access began late February. If you have visited our Bistro or Bar this month we urge you to check with your bank and make sure your information has not been compromised.
- Even if you dined with us during this time frame, it doesn’t mean you are a victim of fraud.
- Transactions in our Pro-shop for golf related purchases are safe. Our system in the Pro-shop has been scanned and has not been breach.
- We’re working as fast as we can and as always our guests are our first priority.
